Intermissions Plaza Outdoor Music Series

The Intermissions Plaza 6-week outdoor music series took place from August 12 - September 16, 2021. The series was presented in partnership with 10 East Arts and Arts with a Purpose. The series took place at Intermissions Plaza 3145 E. 10th Street and featured a great, family friendly line-up of live music from Indianapolis artists! // View Line-Up

2021 Kickback Music Series

​The Kickback Series was a six-week outdoor music series located at Re:Public on the Near East Side of Indianapolis. The series was presented by 10 East Arts and GANGGANG and featured featured local musicians and DJs. // View Line-Up.

 

Artwell

​Artwell was a 10-week series focused on artmaking, wellness and mindfulness that was developed and presented by Collective Liberation Arts and Angelita Hampton at the 10 East Arts HUB. The program explores the connections between art and health. Each session has an art creation component and a component focused on health, wellness and mindfulness. // Learn More

Senior Concert Series

Senior Courtyard Concert Series

During the summer of 2020, 10 East Arts presented weekly music concerts at six (6) low-income senior housing units on the Near East Side of Indianapolis. // Learn More.

Video Art Installation

Located at 3202 E. 10th St. (10th + Dearborn), the 10 East Video Art Drive-In series was a nightly video series. 2020 had two, multi-week series. Each week a new video was featured. Viewers could hear the audio for the videos on 87.9 FM. // Learn More.

“View From My Window,” a roving window art exhibition

The "View From My Window" exhibition showcased the work of local artists on storefront windows along East 10th Street. All window installations were street view only and unless indicated otherwise are on view 24 hours a day. // Learn More.

Art Kits

10 East Arts, Teachers Treasures and local artists collaborated to create coloring and activity pages for low-income Near Eastside Youth. Over 700 art kits in were included in food boxes distributed to Near Eastside families. Click here to view the press release.

Participating artists included: William Denton Ray, Shamira Wilson, Brian McCutcheon, Tracey Gallion, Carl Leck, Jamie Lynn Williams, Aaron Scamihorn, Kate Oberreich and Jingo De La Rosa.

Juneteenth 2020

Juneteenth 2020: Celebration of Creativity was a virtual festival that honored and commemorated Juneteenth, or Freedom Day. The virtual festival was free for all and celebrated arts and culture through the voices of Indianapolis creatives. This event was curated by Bashiri Asad, AshLee Baskin and the 10th East Art Hub summer fellows, Eve Eggleston and Eduardo Luna. // View line-up and performances.

Self Care mOndays

Starting April 6th, every Monday for the next (8) weeks 10 East Arts released a self-care video focused on health and well-being, a virtual program curated by Ess McKee. // View all videos.

Curatorial Fellowship

The Fellowship was set to begin in March 2020 and consisted of three (3), 10-week paid fellowships, where selected curators were asked to facilitate community programming and activate a new community arts space, the 10 East Arts HUB, located on East 10th Street in Indianapolis. // Learn more.
