About Collective Liberation Arts
Founded by Indianapolis artist and writer, Angelita Hampton, Collective Liberation Arts was formed: -to create and share affordable art; to educate and connect with communities through art and wellness classes; to organize and participate in community events that support arts, wellness, and social justice; to provide communities with resources and access to art, technology, wellness and opportunities to create art and establish creative entrepreneurship; to build a network of collaborating artists, activists, and community members; to encourage, support and promote local artists and collaborative projects for collective liberation.
About Angelita Hampton
An Indianapolis native and Near Eastside resident, Angelita is a published mixed media visual artist and writer. She enjoys working as a community educator and activist.
