As part of its Pride Month programming, Backspace Indy is hosting scholar and historian Stephen Lane talks about #Indys drag history. The jazz scene along Indiana Avenue, in its celebration of human expression and sexuality, hosted popular and widely attended drag shows. Come learn how the Black community of Indianapolis supported a drag scene and helped it continue into the modern era.
