Please come join us for a fun ceramic-making workshop! Workshops are open to everyone. No prior experience is required! We will provide all the materials you need and instruction on how to create individual elements out of clay that will be incorporated into the mosaic.

This final art piece will be in the newly expanded Damian Center, currently under construction on East Washington Street. Taking inspiration from Damien’s Center's mission and commitment to the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS through a nurturing and holistic approach, the design embodies the sentiment and aesthetics of 1980’s AIDS Memorial Quilt.

Our design is centered around the concept of community and will serve as a visual tapestry capturing the essence of each person’s individual story. The design represents colorful silhouettes of people moving through the many paths of life. Upon seeing the community mosaic, viewers from near and far will know that the Damien Center
is at its core, all about people.
