Are you a poet and don't know it? explore the world of words through art!
In this class you'll create visual poetry, learning a variety of techniques: cut words or letters from magazines, use stencils, rubber stamps; enhance/decorate a handwritten or typed piece of your own poetry; use a page from a magazine or book and black out or highlight words to transform into a poem. After poetry you can fill out a health survey and talk one on one with the resident health coach to set fitness and nutrition goals as we discuss how to find the right foods for you to look and feel your best.
